Kansas City Coworking Day August 9, 2017

2017 KC Coworking Day squareHelp us set the world record for the most number of people coworking in one place at one time. The Kansas City Coworking Alliance is sponsoring a day of Coworking, Connecting and Colliding to celebrate all that is great about Coworking in Kansas City.

We’ll start out supporting startups at 1 Million Cups then set the coworking global record. Food trucks, games and music will help you connect and collide over lunch in the courtyard. Don’t miss out on being a part of this important day in KC. You just never know who you might meet.

Globally coworking has experienced unprecedented growth. Kansas City’s first coworking spaces began in 2009. Now coworking spaces are located across the metro from North Kansas City to Overland Park, Lenexa to Lee’s Summit and in between, serving thousands of coworking members in shared workspaces of all types. Worldwide it is expected that 1M people will be working from coworking spaces by the end of 2017.

Coworking is for small businesses, freelancers, telecommuters, independent workers and startups looking to transition out of their isolated work environments such as home offices and cafes and into a creative workspace that will push their productivity to the next level and increase their business and personal connections.

The KC Coworking Alliance (KCCA) is a collective of independent collaborative coworking spaces in the Kansas City metro area. The KCCA works to spread the word about coworking, share best practices to strengthen our unique communities and collaborate in the new shared economy.
